Baby bits....

In typical Nest fashion, I like to have "a little bit of something to suit every occasion"...And this has been my personal mantra since the day the doors opened. Below are the "baby bits" I currently have in store! Included amongst these is a new brand that I recently discovered after a lovely young lady came into Nest on a recent visit from Melbourne. I "just happened"   to be on the computer searching for something new for my baby corner when she commented on another label I have in store, mentioning she was next to her at the last market she had attended with her wares..."Oh really? What do you sell?".....and the rest is history! :) I love it when this happens!!! But then nothing is by chance...

"The Little Sparrow" produce beautiful hand embroidered cotton and muslin wraps in conjunction with ethical groups in Bangladesh, Nepal and India. These groups train and employ women who are marginalised, disabled, at risk of trafficking and are often trapped in the cycle of poverty

These opportunities while providing practical solutions - fair wages; health care; literacy programs; anti-trafficking education and relevant skills training-  are also changing lives

As well as hand embroidered, the cottons used in the wraps are all hand dyed! A phenomenal amount of work in each and every one!

And these gorgeous bears, also handmade with love however locally sourced, are the latest little ladies to arrive courtesy of Tish.. So...if you have a  baby due to come into your life soon, pop into Nest as I'm sure to have a little bit  of something for your new little person.
